No words to express the gratitude. We are blessed and spoiled by Indian music composers. I don't think we deserve their generosity. They are my stress busters. Without their compositions, I simply can't function in day to day life.

I think congrats are in order for SPB. He is a living legend and richly deserves the Padma Bhushan. It is very nice to see him still very active in films, on stage shows and on TV.

BTW, I heard this on twitter. Strange but true it seems. Balu was recommended for this award by TamilNadu !!! Gives you an idea how close to heart Tamilians hold him.

bahut pyAr kartE hai tum kO sanam (बहुत प्यार करते है तुम को सनम - பஹுத் ப்யார் கர்தே ஹை தும் கோ சனம்) means roughly "Much love to you darling" (per google translate)

Ofcourse, they sing 'bahut' (much) as 'bahuththu' and 'pyAr' (love) as 'pyAru'

I've mentioned this adding 'உ/ஊ' in Hindi -especially while singing - as a funny thing (IMO) in misc section sometime back (funny thing in languages thread)...
