"En uyir thozhiye" from Kangalal Kaidhu sei... the piano bit was cool & I like the notes that followed 2,,,not sure abt the use of instruments though,,, ![]() ![]() maddy, Thiruda Thiruda whole album is just simply too good...even if u listen now, be it Veerapandhi Kothayille,Thee Thee,Chandraleka or Kannum Kannum, putham puthu boomi all has amazing beats arrangments and also a very fresh approach... to tell u the truth, i still cant digest that Thee Thee & Chandralekha songs were composed in the year 1992/3 ....its too good...speechless to comment on the programming & vocal arrangements...and the loops that were used....goodness...amazing!! Thiruda Thiruda - easily can be said tamil album which is timeless..... |

IMO, There is no complete song without a prelude & interludes which evokes the mood of the song instantly. I would add ARR, a devoted follower of his predecessors's system in this section. The thing he makes it much more grand adds glory to his versatile compositions.
Ennavale - Naveen Flute medhakkura madhiri irukkum (RNKC - Lagaan) Thee Thee - Any better prelude?? ![]() july madham - Prassana's Nylon string classical guitars YJDHT - Shehnai & ho hoi chorus Maa Tujhe Salam - Makes me stand & salute Thendrale - ARR's keyboard Shall list some more later which arent discussed.... |

I repeat again that every other song from IR has that mesmerising prelude be it "oru pattaampoochi nenjil" or even the latest "nilavai chutri" from Madhu. But from non IR stable, VS has done a fantastic job in the songs "nakshathira paravaikku" and "ThangakiLi" - movie "Paramasivam". The former song opening is like a mini symphony and instantly reminds me of those glorious WCM days of IR. Even the chorus voice of the kids is very well done. In "ThangakiLi", the melody is so enchanting although it resembles "vaNNa nilavukku", an IR song from "Rickshaw mama", the opening female chorus is simply bewitching like thousand colorful butterflies fluttering. AWESOME!!!
