Alwaar-

Solli Tharava - nice energetic number with interesting nadhaswaram interludes......u r kept interested throughout the song....

Pidikkum - is the pick of the album for me - nice beats and good pallavi.....starts off well and keeps up the tempo........a real surprise from srikanth deva......

Anbulla Kadhali - starts off in reggae style......pretty interesting tune and intreludes.........has vintage 70's feel in the charanams.....

Pallandu - seems to be the "amma endruu azhaikaadha" for Ajith......nice carnatic based number from SrikanthD

Mayile - brings the kuthu equation in the album......but its a kuthu with a difference as SD has tried some rap bits in the interludes and pretty different sounds......

Aalwar is a pleasant surprise......Good album...... ......Album has given the right feel abt the movie.....

Songs are ok. "Solli Tharavaa" stays in the mind for a couple of minutes.

My Review on Aalwar Music :

Solli Tharava
Sadhana Sargam, Muhamad Salamad
Its a funky n racy number... sounds different...for sure to rock the theatres with picturisation... the heavy beats n orchestration has been rendered wonderfully by Srikanth Deva... loved it very much

Rating --> 4/ 5

Pidikkum
Madhushree
Pick of the album... wonderful melody....

Rating --> 5/ 5

Anbulla Kadhali
Kunal, Kushbu
Sounds likea western country song superb effort... on the lines of "Nejil Mingle Aanale" from dheena.... sure to rock the theatres again...

Rating --> 4/5

Pallandu
Unnikrishnan, Senthildas
A very good devotional song... should be the BGM or sequence bit...

Rating --> 4/5

Mayile Mayile
Srikanth Deva, Senthildas, Roshini, Suruthipriya, Arjun Thamas, Sujavitha
An energetic number... i dont know who sings when as there r many singers... but the song will rock the theatre.. a welcome change from srikanth deva....

Rating --> 4/5

Overall its a very good and energetic album without frustrating kuthu numbers n blatantly vulgar lyrics.... for sure Thala fans n neutrals would love it....

Music Rocks... Srikanth Deva has shown what he can be capable of...

Overall rating 4.2 / 5
