Default Gaya Shraddham
I am planning to go to Banares, Gaya etc. in May with a group arranged by a travel agency. I have no wife. Can anyone tell me whether I could do the rites. If I can, then someone please let me know details of what preparations I should make.
Thank you.

Sratham is to be performed by a male person to his parents or grand parents. Whether it be bachelor or widower it has to be performed. But when parents are alive this need not be done for grand parents. The travel agency will arrange every thing. Even we can make our own arrangement, contacting the pundits there. Whatever be the arrangement, the pundits do as per their customs in that place. Out of our belief and regard to fore fathers we will perform this.
