It's really hard to put a value on things without an explanation.... How do I quantify a qualitative experience?

1. How do you like -- ?
1.1 Thai people -- Well, I haven't met them all, but so far so good. 10
1.2 Places in Thailand -- Always something new and fun to explore. 10
1.3 Thai tradition/culture/belief and the way of their life. --I'm not sure I feel comfortable placing a value here. I enjoy learning about it and everyone's culture is a 10 for them.
1.4 The weather -- I need a good breeze once in a while, so it depends where I am... 7
1.5 Transportation -- So many different modes of transportation! 10
1.6 Cost of of food,clothes and stuff -- As a tourist, very affordable, as a resident less so. ... 8

2. How do you like these food ? -- Warning, I'm an extremely picky eater, so my results will skew this...

I would have taken the survey sooner, but I am not familiar with some questioned subjects there,...so I will answer only those that I understand and can opine on.. 1) =8---2)= 8 (those I have seen)---3)= 7 -----4)=5 (tropical heat can get boring)----5)= (did not ride much public transportation, taxis & friends cars)----6)= (10)...Food cathegory?..Not familiar with those names, and could not put appropriate foods to them. Some thai foods are good, and some are "much GOODER"

So far, I have learned a lot from your answers, at least, my kids had a great time eating garlic chicken which I never think about (because we dont' see this dish in Thai resturants here) from Pailin suggestion. Now I'm hungry!!!

It is very hard to find good garlic chicken here...everything comes very wet and soupy...I always ask Ẻä·Âä·Â ...but that has mixed results.

Thank you everybody to give your information.
Sharing and teaching Thai culture is my work here in America.
For my host family and the my kids (also some teachers) at school, I need to cook them sometime as a treat. They have no idea about Thai food so I have to pick the food and guest what they might like.

In the class, I try to talk both sides ,bad and good, in Thai culture. I don't want to be stereotype person. If I ask myself the survey above, I would give 10 for each of them, becuase I am a Thai and I really love everything in my country. When I meet people around the town, they know me as if I am an ambassador of Asia. So far, I told them Thai people are very kind, but I'm not sure if I am right. I cooked them Tom Yum Koong becuase it is well known as a famous Thai food. But I am wondering if this is the best food to represent all Thai cuisine actually I myself don't like Tom Yum with coconut milk but I have seen this kind a lot in Thai resturants in the states so I decided to make a coconut milk version. Sometime, they ask me how hot the weather in Thailand is, I said, it's hot and humid. They mentioned that they might die in that kind of weather and they always quite the conversation as soon as they know the weather is not fine for them. But for me, I am almost die here if the weather is hot and I can't get sweat.

I ask you guys here because I want to know how foraigners think about Thailand.
