The news reported that there were hails - finger tip size in HuayKhang, DinDaeng and BangKhae around 2 pm. I couldn't remember the last time I saw hail in Bangkok .

Parts of Bangkok around Ratchada Rd, Huy Khwang junction had a short sharp hail shower a short time ago, it was enough to lie in the gutters for a while and had people sending sms to each other talking about it. It must be all that Global Warming ÀÒÇÐâÅ¡Ãé͹.

I was at home when the barrage of ice fell. They were small and melted before I could get hold of them. The loud splattering which lasted just under a minute drove my pet crazy and it peed all over my room. The people said this had not happened in Bangkok for a long time (it was the first experience for me in Bangkok). The older folks then speculated the weather pattern has gone haywire and rumored Bangkok will undergo sever flooding this year.

To me this sounds like fun though I know it could be disastrous for some.
