.....within a year back home, most of those 25 had lost all contact with their family. I, however, had such a transforming experience with them. ...and throughout my life they have been there for the good, the bad, and the really bad. |

My first visit to Thailand was decided after having a chat with a retired couple by the pool at a hotel in India. I love culture, photography, spicy food, the outdoors and wildlife and exploring. They said, you realy must visit Thailand,it is so beautiful. It is now ten years on and i can only say that they where right! I wish them both well. I can honestly say that, the one hour conversation we had played such a major part in the last ten years of my life. I have been to,and seen some of the most beautiful places i could only have ever dreamed of seeing during my travelles.I have met and made so many friends in Thailand also. The Thaichatbox has been a great asset and help to me during my visits to Thailand! Thanks so much everyone.

honestly, sometimes I have no idea. I guess I got stuck here after a number of coincidences. you gotta be somewhere, unfortunately. and it is sort of bearable to be here, as opposed to where I was coming from. I don't have passions anymore. I just enjoy having a good job, good salary, good weather, good people, and good holidays. and being left alone to do what I like to do. could be anywhere tropical or subtropical as well, with a good job. there must be good jobs everywhere. eg. Australia.
