Default Presents for new home?
Hi all
My friend has just moved into her new home. Does anybody know what would be the correct present to buy her and would a "new home" card be appropriate?
Any ideas please.
Many thanks

Depends on your relationship with your friend, normally a new home card always attached to a gift. But if you don't live in Thailand, only a card would be nice.

I tend to give "money" or "gift certificate" for a new home as I have seen many "new home" presents are kept in storeroom without using it.

I am not sure what you mean by "how to activate the chart". But if you would like to do a money transfer you need to contact us through the website. We only do this for known customers and forum members. The minimum amount to transfer is also 3,000 baht which is a bit more than a "few bucks".

Largo is a customer of ours in the www.Send2Thailand.com shop. He can basically order what he likes and we do the shopping for him and then send it to his friend in Thailand. Works out a lot cheaper. So he is not limited by size or weight. We just sent someone a DVD player and the other week a digital camera. In theory we can send a motorcycle through the post office. We also do gift certificates for Big C and money transfers which are quicker and cheaper than Western Union.

Maybe a gift certificate for Big C and a card? Just write a short sentence in English and we will translate into Thai for no extra charge.

Richard, i would like to use your money transfer service, but as you explained to me in a private message this is difficult re; fees to charge.
Have you developed a system yet which works. As Sved says, there is an empty space / still. It costs me nz$25 bank fee to send money from NZ to BKK.

Yes we are doing it at the moment for known people. We prefer to set the amount to 3,000 baht per transfer and then fees on top of that. You can either do transfers via paypal, bank account in UK or bank account in USA. We then transfer to their bank account so that they can have access to the money straight away.

Please contact us via the www.Send2Thailand.com website.
