They do have a lot of ghosts and spirits of different kinds. Its a quite common theme in thaimovies but I dont know how the classical thai folklore is.

thailand has a lot of monters and it very scary me .......lol....

[MM hate it ka]

but a lot of people say "mae nak" is good ghost(is it spell like that)

is ghost = monter??
I don't think so. lol Ghost is more like spirit but monster is physically messed up creature (some might have extraordinary power too, for instance Yak. lol It's big (like troll but a lot taller and bigger. could be a mountain size or bigger. Some could fly.). lol

Well, i feel pity for Mae Nak. She was loyal to her lover even after her death. I think she had right to do whatever (killing too) to get those people, who mean to harm her, away.

Some of the monsters are imported from India in their version of Ramayana, or Ramakien in Thai. These include giants, demons and nagas.

àÊ×ÍÊÁÔ§ - tiger spirit that, when hungry, will disguise itself into a very beautiful and attractive woman with lil clothes on to get a guy for food. Usually it's respected by people whose life depends on forest and animals in the forest.

There are those mythical giants called yak (ÂÑ¡) that guard temples. If you search ''yak'' and ''thailand'' in images on google, I'm sure you'll recognise them.

Default Thai Monsters
I was wondering what are the common monsters in Thailand. We have werewolves, bogeymen, witches, trolls and so on. I was wondering what they have in Thailand and how they compare to western ones.
