Default Thai Music
I am interested in learning about the regional diferences in Thai music. I have had some luck finding information so far, but it has been difficult for me to find information about the music in the southern provinces. Can anyone offer me a music history or just a general idea of the musical technique nad influences in the southern provinces? Any information about the other regions would help me as well. Thank you.

Southern Thai Dance Styles/Music Here is a website that goes through some of the Southern Thai Dance Styles and thus, Thai music. The music style I am most familiar with is Ãͧà§ç§ Ronggeng. Most of the websites devoted to Ãͧà§ç§ mention Malaysia, because of its origin, but if you type in Ãͧà§ç§ Thailand you'll get hits for Thailand, too.
