Suggest you try a land line first to check whether the number you have is picking up, it is easier that way to sort out the right country code via a telephone directory or directory enquiries and maybe even a little cheaper. Once you have established the number is correct and current, maybe contact your Mobile Service supplier for further help, if connection is still a problem.

Hi there, But... Are you putting spaces between the numbers or with hyphens as you have written them above? If so that is your problem, you should dial 00661187****, or +661187****. Both these numbers are exactly the same as the + just represents international access which is usually but not always 00. By the way you will often find it very expensive to call a Thai mobile from a UK mobile and some UK prepay mobiles don't allow you to call overseas numbers unless you have a minimum amount of call credit available and sometimes not at all. Hope this helps. David |

Sorry to interrupt. I also have some problems calling to Thailand, from Singapore. I always get the call back centre if อุบลวรรณ is indoors at her home as she then doesn't get a signal (it is pretty weak outside too). If when prompted you then press '1' the next time the telephone gets a signal the person is notified that you called and left your number. This is very useful as I can miss getting a call to อุบลวรรณ depending if she has gone indoors or where in the garden she is, as soon as she is notified she makes my phone ring and I can call her again often only minutes later and saves me keep trying. ![]() David |

Sorry to interrupt. I also have some problems calling to Thailand, from Singapore.
The number I have is 09-240-XXXX. (Mobile number) I dialed, 021-66-9-240-XXXX. (021 is the IDD operator that I used in my country). Alternatively, +66-9-240-XXXX Everytime when I called, I always got to hear "Borigan... ton rab.... Welcome to the call back centre....", is the user not using his/her phone (switched off or no network coverage), or whether I dialed correctly? Khob khun mak~ ![]() |
