Traditional festivals/holidays in thailand

My employer is sponsoring a cultural festival in our company. Each department was to choose a country and depict a typical [B]traditional holiday/festival that would be most closely related to our American Christmas. We chose Thailand. http://www.thailandguidebook.com/iB_...cons/smile.gif Do you know of a TRADITIONAL holiday/festival that the people of Thailand celebrate yearly that would have a large spiritual significance and be celebrated in a way that our Christmases are celebrated here? If so, could you tell me what that holiday is and where I could find information on it regarding traditional food dishes served, traditional costumes/wardrobe worn, traditional decorations, traditional music played, etc. for this holiday? Thanks so much for your help.
