Can anyone give me any information on Host Familys or Recruitment websites for such?

I have looked on Google for 2 days now with barely anything coming out.. i guess im using the wrong terms, maybe?

What are you looking for? Are you an exchange student who is looking for a host family to stay with? Or are you a normal tourist who wants to experience homestay?

He said eh!!!!! I love this guy!! lol Canadian's are cool. My friends come down from Canada and they were taking pictures of the cows, and the corn fields that everyone is sooooo accustomed to here! Guess they don't have much for farms up there.

Nah, we do have farms in Saskatchewan, but nobody really goes there. So we actually do have farms, but they're stuck in the one place where we jokingly way that you could watch your dog run away for three days.

We do say 'Eh?' however.

I am not in school, so that makes me not a student, but i am just 20 years old, and this is my first out of country trip, i would like to stay with a family for about 6 months, learn the differnt cultural surroundings, volunteer work most likely, and be shown temples and such, sounds kinda like a touristy thing, but im not coming to shot and relax, i want to help out a family and im just going on now.

Actually, you *may* be able to sneak on with the volunthai.com program. I knew the co-ordinator from my days in Korat and he was a pretty cool guy. Preference is given to university grads, but who knows; you might just luck out with this cat.

Hey dude, no problemo on the link. I've been itching to go back for awhile now and I might take them up on their offer.

I'm from Calgary and am super bummed at the lack of hockey! But then again, I was a bit bummed out wearing an old Makarov jersey and some puckbunnies beaned me in the head with a raisin, saying, 'Idiot! He plays for Detroit!'

Ya the Canucks VS Flames match last seasons was good, the Flames just wanted it more

i cheer on (in the post season) Canucks Calgary and Edmonton.

but overall im hometown canucker.

i lived in calgary for a bit too even worked that the stampede, got lots of free tickets to flames games ;P
