I haven't heard of such a thing.

Some people like to get a tattoo, some like not; I think it has nothing to do with the sex-change.

I've also heard that Thai people that have a Sex change operation get a tattoo on their shoulder at the same time, some sort of mandatory thing??
Anyone here heard of such a thing??
Yes, I've heard this about this one. Some people said that they will look sexier w/ those "tatoos" at thier back.

Have you seen one? What is the common designs of tatoos?

It means that they love their children and proudly want to show others how much they love them.

But I think it would be very unlikely for a Kathoey (Ladyboy) to give people a hint that they are boys; because they want to be a girl and want to be treated like that too, so why give a hint what they really are.

I don't think so that this would be the case.

But what I have seen many times in Thailand is that women get the Name of their Child tattooed in English.

"Boy" is a common Nickname in Thailand (male) so I think it could be either the Name of their Son or their Boyfriend; nothing secret/dodgy, maybe they just don't want that others know that they already have a Child or a Boyfriend.

Indeed.

If they want to be ladies, I mean sex transvertile.

they won't leave any marks they were males before..

But I can tell by the looks that he's a male or female.

Why is that they tatooed the names of their childs to their diff. parts of their bodies?

Does that mean they really tresaure their childs?

oh alright...yea, that's true too. you are probably right, but it can be anything...always gotta be open to all options.

i've never seen that tat before, so i wouldn't know. would make sense if it's a childhood name though too. eh, like i said, could mean anything.

Indeed mate, that's true. Having a tatoo doesn't mean it has a connection w/ "sex change".

I would rather see tatoo as an art, or art of the body.
Since the ancient time, we Asians are fund to this art.
