As I read daily about the natural tragedy that befell Burma/Myanmar, with so many 1,000`s of deaths, and then a few weeks later China, with another horrible death toll, I feel worried for my wife and all the friends I made in Bangkok/Thailand. Bangkok is only a "stone`s throw away" from Burma, and exposed to similar natural catastrophies...shudder to think how horrible it would be if cyclone like "Nargis" would plow through big city as Bkk...and from my wife`s explanations, due to hystorical circumstances Thais not very fond of Burmese but it`s a terrible tragedy when any person dies or suffers, whether Thai, Burmese, Chinese or any other...and I pray for all those 1,000`s in Burma & china that are going through these tragic ordeals, and for safety of my wife especialy, and all friends I made through her. (but Jesus warns us that before end comes things like these shall happen and with increasing frequency. "Let the wise read and understand-the signs of the times")
