Star Trek rocks! Voyager sucks! The entire crew either had crappy acting so the emotions were poorly executed, or they had none at all. I got hooked on Next Generation, but really liked DS9 the best. The writing was just so good. To keep a good storyline moving and not be able to change locations since it was all based off of a starbase must have been challenging, but they did well for themselves.
As much as Star Wars is cool, Star Trek people deserve a lot of credit for keeping up with quality scifi for sooo many episodes. I am doubtful that Star Wars would have been able to do the same. So movie versus tv series is difficult to compare, but after the original Star Wars movies, I lost much interest in it. Star Trek has kept me a fan, as long as I black out anything that has to do with Voyager. |

Ronin055, i pity you lol, Battlestar Galatica, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!!!, yeh the borg are good but Klingons are just futuristic Samurai/Agressive/Evil etc that mkaes thgem very unqiue and kool. With borg it's like oh look at me i can repair myself but i have an IQ of 0.5. Now the Cardassians - they're some evil, um, villians. "There...are...four...lights!" Hank. |

Star trek the original (no Star trek character can beat Cpt "ladies man" Kirk and his crew)
DS9 (most of the characters were great including Quark) Next generation (Jean Luc was more of an intelectual cpt compared to Jim) Voyager (Mr Paris was cool, 7 was the only character which had a real female treky uniform since the original series ) Come on guys, how can you compare Star Wars to Star Trek, the first one is more of a fantasy and sci-fi mix while the second is purely sci-fi, you'll never hear characters in Star Wars discussing physics theories...etc |

Gen Grevious was a way cool concept poorly executed on screen. If you recall the Darth Maul Final sequence, it was all shot wide angle for the greater part. Few real tight close ups. However with general Grevious we get this crap, all close in shots and him going roto-rooter on Kenobi. What the heck? That really ruined the fight I think. Then a big ol chase ending in a silly little fight. That whole stupid chase scene should have been taken out and replaced with a epic lightsaber fight.
As far as Star Trek Vrs Star Wars.. .. http://www.spacebattles.com/ Here ya go. And as far as Star Trek being over with .. thats ok, it was getting really repetitive anyway. Oh gee look, time travel.. er.. super enemy.. er.. holo deck malfuction.. .. er.. the shields are down... .. whoops captian is in trouble for breaking the rules again. LoL ok .. .. its been 20 years .. WE GET IT.. .. lol And besides, we have Battlestar Galactica now on SciFi every friday night. oh yea baby !! |
