The best comic book to movie adaptations I have seen are Blade, and sincity. Sincity works better as a comic, blade was just a lot of fun. The hellboy film was degrading to the series in my opinion (being a huge fan of mignola's work), hellboy was portrayed as a dumb, boyish, out of control youth who wasn't likable or interesting which is just totally contrary to the spirit of the character. It was on par with the Constantine movie, inspired by hellblazer but not a hellblazer film, to me it is the same with hellboy. I am some what of a pureist.
I agree, Blade series are actually pretty good. I personally think it's somewhat even better than the original Blade as I remember one day he showed up in one of the Saturday morning cartoon shows long time ago. Then somehow whenever I see Blade, that reminds me of Ghost Rider, and they should make a movie of Ghost Rider. He's such a kewl character... talking about guys on fire, I think he's kewler than Johnny Storm...

...and Turtles was good, but turtles 2 and 3 sucked. Even though I liked Bebop and Rocksteady!
I like ninja turtles 2, even if Vanilla Ice is on it.

I'm not a big comic book fan. In the past, I liked Spiderman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, The Green Lantern, and The Simpsons.

Or perhaps X-men, even though they made Cyclops a sissy.
Thank god they took away his yellow underwear, otherwise it could be worse, lol I'm sure the actor refused to wear them that's why they came up with all the new uniforms, hehehe I'm also a cyclops fan here OPTIC BLASTTTTTT! I used to be really good at X-Men vs Street Fighters

I havn't seen all of them, but I would say that Spiderman, X-Men, and perhaps The Fantastic Four are my favorites. And well.. Blade is based off of a comic, too, so it's in there.

The movie or the comic books? The movies, in my opinion, were entertaining but corny. The comic book was entertaining without cornyness.
The comic books were indeed corny in many aspects. If you didn't notice the cornyness, you weren't looking close enough.

My vote's for Sin City. Kept very close to the comic book and it it was shot very well. Elijah Wood looked so freaky!!

Yeah, but Mark Steven Johnson is the director. That can't be good.
