what do you think? It's supposed to be the moon in the stream like the kendokas mind. But I wanted it to look like to old emblems of the samurai.

I thought it was a wooden grain shinai tsuba because it was too symmetrical....

Same here, most people use a cresent for the moon because its clearer.

Me too... nice wooden tsuba... how about if within a circle you put a bit like a yin yang line only wavier, with next to it (as tho behind) part of a full circle to indicate the moon? It's a difficult concept to get into a diagram...

not quite sure I understand but I'd love to have more input on making the moon more noticeable

I'd say make it a crescent moon.

I didn't think of the tsuba, but there were some things that I did think of

1. A donut
2. The cross-section of a hollow tube

It reminds me of the standard that the forces of Thulsa Doom carried in the first "Conan the Barbarian" movie, starring "The Gubernator".

yeah your right I changed it back until I redo the new one it looks too much like a tsuba.
