Sure, teach ID, but not in a science class. It isn't science. Teach it in a comparative religion study where it belongs.

As for you getting angry if you are taught evolution, too bad. Would you get mad at learning the theory of gravity, or relativity?

/shakes fist at sky.. DAMN YOU GRAVITY!!!!
Actually I am insulted by this heathen nonsense of "gravity". Instead I propose a new theory: Intelligent 'Falling'.

No free candies for me, I didn't go trick or treat and only two kids knocked on my door last night. I played Medival Lords instead, hehehe

As a muslim, I dont believe in the same ID as would Christians/Jews, because we as muslims believe the Bible/Torah are adulturated and incorrect due to changes since they were written. So my opinions go beyond the church and state issue. Even beyond the dawarnism/evolution issue. Let all things be taught and let the person decide which is best for him. Surely God will guide whom he wishes in whichever direction he pleases. The main problem nowadays is the ignorance of what the True basis of religion is, and many people have no clue whatsoever about Monotheism, so the belief in Evolution/scientific atheism is a somewhat popular belief.
It is quite astonishing that human beings nowadays have the humility to say they have evolved from monkeys, but they do not have the humility and truth in their hearts to submit to their god who created all that exists. So these peoples humility is truly misguieded and is no longer humilty, but arrogance at is peak.

But i digress. I have too many things that i want to say that i just wouldnt have room or time to type. And it seems my ability to move to tangents of the real subject in remarkable so i will stop now. Peace.

Ahmed.

There is absolutely no place for that sort of comment here.

This is one step that is way too far over the mark. There was absolutley no need for that. I wouldn't be surprised if you soon found yourself banned as a result.

I think you should at least apologize now before the situation gets worse. Arguing each other's view is one thing, insult like that has no place on this forum.

Are you brave enough to put your real name behind it?

LOL,that was pretty funny, ive never had anyone get a terrorist joke off as well as you did berug........sike.

Now everyone, dont be angry with him, he just doesnt have anything intelligent to say. As you can see, he has no understanding of Islam. But seriously, after years and years of comments like that, it takes a lot more to get me riled up. As for anyone who believes that Islam is a terroristic, or militiristic religion, well, your wrong. Islam is about believing in One god, this is truly what a muslim is, a muslim is a person who believe that there is only one god. And all other teachings beside that are mostly about peace, not killing people. But dont get me wrong, in Islam, if muslims are attacked or provoked, we are not supposed to take any shit. Let me just tell of a teaching of Islam in the Quran.

In the Quran it tells the Muslims to fight only those who transgress on them first, and if even one civilian or even on tree of the enemy is killed in the war, then the war should be stopped then and there. This seems very justifiable to me. So not only are muslims told not to be the instigator, but also not to attack civilians or even a tree.

Now i just felt like i needed to give this information, not only for beruginins sake, but for anyone else who has a distorted understanding of Islam. Now i couldnt go into detail on the on the teachings, since I am not a preacher, but i did my best. Peace.

Ahmed.

Religious debate, Drizzt's lousy English (even though it's the only language he knows), it really is an average day!

So when will everyone who does not agree with you going to become an illogical hick? Have I preempted that insult(since your typical pattern is emerging here).

And no berugijin, English is not the only language I speak.

Berugijin.... just apoligize. I know that you meant no harm but many were hurt by what you said....

Also! Ask any scientist or Teacher and they will laugh when you say: "Well It's only a theory not a Law!"

Let me define:
Theory:An hypothesis that has been validated by many many tests
Law: Something that happens.... Only a discription, it has no explenation
Hypothesis: An educated guess/ Something plausable

And if you want examples:
Theory: EVOLUTION, M-Theory, gravaty
Law: Matter cannot be created or destroyed
Hypothesis: ID, IF, My teachers are mean thus thats why my grade sucks

I hope my little bit was educational ^_^;

No, a racial slur of particularly poor taste.
