I've been a loyal mach 3 user for years. I shave once a week. However, I should shave once every 2 days, but I'm lazy. However, I do use shaving cream. No shaving cream and sensitive skin are is not a good combo. Did it once. My face looked like I had an accident. Red and bloody. By the way, Twobitmage shaving cream isn't that expensive. Or do your fellow dorm mates steal it every time you buy a new one?

mach 3

and living in the dorms doesnt give me the luxury to have shaving cream.

just a side to a side note though. Shaving without cream is like getting kicked in the nuts...for your face.
I got this tip after I came to work with a face full of cuts for not using a shaving cream (never tried it, so I don't know if it works): Shave while you are under the shower and use regular soap or shampoo. And if that doesn't work you could alway try to grow a beard

Just use regular soap. Shaving cream is, or I should say was, made from soap (whipped soap). A good lather and your razor glides like it should. I find Ivory brand works best.

As per the original question, Mach 3, badger hair brush.
I use Ivory when I run out of the proper soap. Works fantastic with the brush.

Using mach 3 with gel. Whats using those electric things like?

Jesus, you guys can get away with shaving once per week? I get visibly stubbly within about 5 hours of shaving, so no less than once a day.

Then again, I am a beast.

From that I gather you chose the "shaving is for pansies" option? Waxing is hard core.

Not only that, ingrown hairs down there are very unsightly as well as dangerous so waxing is indeed necessary although grotesquely painful.

I've used the (original!!) Mach 3 since high school, so that's roughly 7 or 8 years now. I actually don't use shaving cream, but I do shave right out of the shower, so my stubble is nice and soft.

I also use a Norelco AccuVac trimmer for my beard... I love that thing!

I use M3 Turbo w/ the matching shaving gel

BTW I use an electric toothbrush and they are the absolute business, once you use one you wont go back

I use the Shick Quattro to shave off all of the facial hair that I swear is there but nobody else can see. I use Old Spice products for everything else.

You could always use conditioner. Although I suspect you wouldn't have that if you can't have shaving cream. I use a razor (on my legs, not my face) that has built in shaving conditioner. I forget what it's called though.
oh no no... be careful with this. face skin is most delicate than the rest of your body. i once tried it and i wouldnt suggest to use hair conditioner, shampoo or anything for the top of your hair on your face. i did once and it burnt my face. really, red irritated skin for six to eight hours lol :0 must had been the ph or hellknowswhat. but best use soft body/face soap and not hair products in case of emergency.

btw, i use disposable double bladed made-in-china razorblades and prince/lush shaving cream. but then again, i dont usually shave that often.... (vagabond could-care-less look, anyone? ). no aftershave... since i moved on my own and cant steal dad's now

Mach 3 Turbo. Although it doesn't feel too different from the other multi-razors I've used before.

I used to use shaving gel but have recently converted to using shaving cream on a badger hair brush. If you don't treat yourself well, who will?
