Just join the shining heads club, the experience is liberating, the door is also open to the girls, no discrimination whatsoever, think about it, you won't have to stay that long facing a mirror . |

Don't cut your hair man! Don't support dictatorships, communism and unjust socialsim! Grow your hair long and let freedom reign!
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory?id=461895 Personally I grow my hair long in open protest of women who cut theirs short. When they finally end the madness I'll trim my locks |

"North Korea's campaign does not mention any rules for women and gives no explanation as to why their long hair would not result in reduced brain activity."
Because women don't need to worry about oxygen loss to the nerves in their head because it doesn't require much intelligence to cook, clean, and say "yes, dear." BEFORE ANYONE KILLS ME, I'M JOKING! Besides, my wife will kill me for this one without your help, so sayonara everyone, it was nice knowing you... |

My hair is wavy, dry and a few inches longer from my shoulder. I usually tie them the way Paburo ties his. The trick I usually do is after putting on my tenegui, I give it an extra pull at the back of my head so it almost covers all the way till my hairline at the back. Like this, my hair will not get caught between my men himo.
As for split ends, I will give my hair a trim every 2 to 3 months. Some girls will apply olive oil for hair into their hair to keep it moist, maybe you can try that. I am too lazy to do so. |

in answer to the original question. i too have long hair. ive allways had split ends, so this has never caused a problem.
the problem was that my bobble was right where i tied my men-grrg. anyways, i used to plait mine to keep it out of the way. many koreans and japanese just leave theirs loose though. i did have it in thin braids for a while. this meant i didnt have the bobble problem and it could be down without being in the way. try experimenting. |

'K, I've got long hair... Besides getting my hair tangled in my men himo, I've got really bad split ends... And then lastly, ask her out on a date. |

I have long hair down to the middle of my back that gets a little curly at the ends and I don't have too much a problem with it. |

lol, out of context, this doesn't sound kendo related. It's bone straight, long, used to be about to my butt, but I cut it and it's almost at the middle of my back again. It wasn't frizzy at all, but since I started-about two years ago- I ended up with a cockatoo thing goin'. e_e; |

Until they figure out where you've got it hidden and kill you for it. Just as many chicks dig guys with long hair as opposed to guys with shaved heads. IMHO |
