Hey all.
IS anyone else here a Brother? I was just curious, and I'll be initiated this December weekend. Some of you might be saying: "What's DeMolay?" Answer: Look here. www.demolay.org So, why does DeMolay supplement MA practice? It teaches us brotherly love, kindness, and compassion towards others, and helps us become better young men, and can help our MA as well, by being respectful, etc. Peace, and if anyone is a Brother, feel free to post here. ^^ |

My dad was a big demolay back in the late 50s/early 60s but it ended there. Peace. |

Oh yeah, granting that gold cord of Chevalier is such a feat for DeMolays. So where did you petitioned LightSamurai? What degree are you supposed to receive this coming December? Good luck.
They're all very nice guys, and the MEMBERS run the Chapter, not the Advisors. It is easy to be nice but being good is different. And im sorry to disappoint you but in very much sure not all Chapters are run by the Chapter Members but also some are being meddled by the Advisors. |

isn't DeMolay some kind of fraternic cult just like Mason? DeMolay is NOT a cult. My parents know I'm a Member, and ar eevn invitied to sit in on the meetings, if they promise to keep the Secrets well, Secret. It is inded a Fraternity, aime at kids for ages 12-21. The Masons are NOT a cult either. In fact, in DeMolay, as well as the Masons, all RELIGIOUS and POLITICAL talk is banned. That means: They cannot impose doctrine, And they cannot disscuss ANYTHING about politial leaders. Friend, please look at: www.masonicinfo.com , as well as www.demolay.org . Peace. =) |

Masonry? I think it's well documented in the Isles. I read some articles and some documents even go back to 1717. 1717 is when the GL of Pennsylvania, was set up, I believe. Recently, I went to a Lodge near here - And I looked at the door knockers - They were only second degree, and I asked about that, and a Gentlemen replied: "Those are from back when there were only two degrees." Pretty cool, eh? ;-) Peace. EDIT: also, keep in mind other Orders have Sceret Handshakes. The Moose Lodge, the Order of Oddfellows, etc. |

I find this unacceptable to in here, taunting him like that. If you are in DeMolay, or even a Mason, or belong to any affilated bodies, your sending a bad signal to other people. Filipino Freemasons and their families had been kinda persecuted in their homaland for the longest time. So please don't sulk and do not complain. My family comes from a long line of Masons. I mean long... i mean my ancestors even met revolutionaries (and was one of them) in my country. And in this country, revolutionaries were mostly Freemasons. I deal with presumtions and bias towards my fraternity every single day of my life since the day i was born. Peace.
