Default Phobia's
What creeps you out?

I have issue with clowns and spiders. No I don't know why clowns creep me out, but they do. I would rather face a room full of ninja than stay in a room alone with a clown. I never had a clown do anything to me, or anyone I know so yes I know it's irrational. At least I have a reason to hate spiders, a brown recluse messed me up. Those creepy little bass-turds demand respect, but the clowns I can get a handle on. I mean I wouldn't run screaming from if one walked in or anything (well maybe if it was dark, probably scream all the way to the bedroom and the gun) I just get a knot in my gut whenever I'm around one.
Anyone else have any weird phobia's they can't get a handle on?

I saw a movie a long time ago when I was 8-9 years old called 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes' and ever since I have a fear of eating tomatoes.

Haha, just kidding. I can eat tomatoes but I don't like to eat them straight out. It's ok in a hamburger or on pizza. But that is the excuse I use when people ask me why I don't eat alot of tomatoes.

That's wierd I actually know a lot of people who thinks clowns are scary...I wonder why that is...it doesn't seem like they should be but yet there is something rather unsettling about them.

And I hate spiders too, if I see one in my room I won't be able to sleep right for a week.

Well, I have a fear of heights, so going to amusement parks isnt very amusing. I also have abandonment issues. I fear being alone.
I also find clowns unsettling. They're freakishly happy, which leads you to believe that under the creepily happy exterior there is something dark hidden that's capable of horrible things.
But I may just be a basket case ^__^ stick me in a crazy bucket and call it a day ^_^

My wife is having uncontrolled freak outs against catapillars.
Myself, I think they are cute.
Even to see a photo or saying the word makes her scream.
I really worry sometimes about her mental condition conderning this.

If you dislike spider, Japan is not a good place to live.
About spider, some Japanese people are thinking they are house kami, and bringing good fortune.
I agree with this idea very much.
To a point.
I dislike poison spiders.

I have housekeeper spiders, and daddy long legs in my house and I don't mind them, they don't bite. I like the little wolf spiders we have here in Florida, they look like mini tarantulas, so cute. Funny thing from what I understand daddy long legs are the most poisonous spiders on earth, but their mandibles are too short to break our skin, cool and spooky at once.

Gomen!
I am not certain, however I am thinking this may be an urban mythos?

I have the weirdest one of all. I have an irrational fear of cereal. Yes. Cereal. Like, cheerios scare the crap out of me. Especially with milk. Oh god.

Clowns scare me to death as well.

I'm afraid of spiders, but strangely enough I would like to see one or two in the apartment. I would probably give the the vacuum-cleaning treatment but as they are a sign of a healthy house it would be nice to have seen them. I'm always worrying about mould.

Oh, and I was also told by a friend that a person on average swallows 3 spiders during their life. This supposedly happens when we are asleep and they are climbing our faces.

I have a fear of improper punctuation. I don't know why I'm in this thread, the title scares me.

I have no fear
I read once( I forgot which author)

Ignoble people has no fear of dishonor,
Smart people have no fear for livelihood,
People who have mastered control of the senses have no fear from any objects and are above influence.
The person who has accomplished their purpose in life has no fear of death and are beyond intimidation.

I am afraid of boiled DimSum Chicken feet......
LOL
