Put the bong down and step away from the lighter slowly, this is for your own good.

Perhaps you should read more than profiles, try the posts. Assuming Mr. Smith is a Sensei of Kenjutsu, my point still stands, he didn't offer any constructive advice, or assistance in helping understand the difference between the budo's or help direct the Airbender to any schools. All he did was smugly belittle a newbie's attempt to be helpful. Maybe you should consider following your badly placed advice. But hey, take your laughes where you can, simple minds, simple pleasures.
There was bugger all smug about what he said, and he offered his opinion as an established practitioner (whose voice is respected and regarded as trust worthy on this forum) on what appears to be some dubious "kenjutsu" (which is a rather catch all term at best, and at worst what kids do in the garden with daddy's spade).

Then don't you think it would serve more purpose to point out the useful links rather than quibble? No, I don't. Why do you think that people should be spoon fed information instead of doing their own research? If people have done their own research and come asking semi-intelligent questions, I am more than happy to help them out. If kids come on here totally ignorant and want me to give them everything, I tend to give them nothing but a hard time. Sorta like the hard time I give you!

You admit that 4 of the links could be considered "remotely helpful" yet rather than point them out, you chose instead to chastete someone at least trying to give a base of comparison for their lack of knowledge on the budo. I've no idea what a chastete is, but I'll assume that I know what you're trying to say. Anything that comes off a web site that puts forward playing with boffers as "kenjutsu" should be summarily tossed as useless. Kenji has done a little bit of research on his own. He is building up a little bit of a knowledge base. That's a good thing, but he doesn't know nearly enough to be advising others. That's all I was telling him. There's a whole lot of easily available information on the internet. If someone can't be bothered to go to the tiny bit of effort needed to look for it, why should I give it to them? It's very much like your situation. Why should people help you when you can't be bothered to go to any effort to help yourself?

I don't see any similarity to my situation. I have a firm base for my budo, and practice what I have learned daily, rather than letting my mind or body forget. I am seeking a new Sensei, so there is effort to help myself. It's only the assumption of others that I know nothing more than how to twirl a wallhanger that irks me, but then time mends all things.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Metsuke again.

Well since we both said the same thing, at about the same time, sounds like a challenge. I'll drop my gauntlet if you would like to speak with Awooga guy about borrowing his thread I think he is done with Kenshinbattf*&ker. I await your answer..... A battle of witts.

You already do a fine job of making yourself look like nob. I see no reason fom me to help.

P.S. Copying what I say, does not count as "saying the samething at the same time".

Look at the times of the posts and do the math, you seem like you might be smart enough to do this without help. At least I wasn't petty enough to toss the same accusation when I read this post. Just look what time I finished the post before it, and after it.

Yeah, 10 minutes is just not enough time for you to have copied from any one!!! Thanks again for showing exactly how stupid you can be.
