More Moderators - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

I think it's time that we need more moderators because of the recent waves of trolls invasion we've been having. Since Alex/Hamish are busy bunch. So I think we need to let some regulars to excercise the god-like power to reduce trolling and spamming.

So cast your vote!

Well, I chose all (assuming the 2nd paikea to mean pgsmith), I think it would help improve the quality of the forums.

Me as moderator? That would mean that I would have to control myself. What fun is that?

Actually, I wouldn't really mind, but Alex and Hamish have resisted increasing the number of moderators in the past with good reason. We have had a recent troll invasion, but it's the same one that happens every summer when bored kids start looking for something to keep them from actually going outside and getting some exercise.

Besides which, I am not even a kendoka!

P.S. I voted for Paikea myself!

If the troll invasion is only temporary, we just have to sit tight and wait until they leave. Or we can call this time of the year the troll hunting season

Explanation ...
I feel like I need to explain why Paikea instead of Neil. Both are pretty steady, have much experience, and give good advice. However, Neil is pretty much the most experienced kendoka that posts on here regularly. I think his experience would be put to much better use answering questions and making comments rather than spending all of his time on KW chasing stupid kids around.

Just my thoughts on it though.

Just out of interest, has anyone approached the KWF boyos and asked if this is required? I received a PM with a perfect explanation - the schools are all on vacation. Will the forums calm down once the kids are back to school?

Bah. He's just the most talkative. He's outranked and outclassed by quite a few people who post regularily, including both Marsten brothers, Hyaku, Arnold Matsuda and Alex. Although technically he outranks them he knows he'd get his ass kicked in the shiai-jo by Tenken, Moocow, Gibbo and any number of others. Plus he talks about himself in the third person, the wanker.
