Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I have a pic of me and a few buddies who decided to go to the Reading Festival in fancy dress. After a few ales it was decided.

Each of us had a flowery dress, paraboots, a beard and a helmet (I had a Zulu-esque pith helmet)... it was a scary moment for all we encountered. Only the Hare Krishna would talk to us...
