Anyone play a musical instrument?

I'm trying to learn how to play the Sitar these days.

Sitar? That's pretty cool. I use to DJ but that is about as close as I came to actually being able to play an instrument.
I heard ScottUK plays a mean spice trombone.

What is it with guitars and young girls. With guitar pulled easily; without guitar it is a lot more work........sigh

I played trumpet, but I was never really that good at it. Just a side interest with no real commitment. Now why did I buy myself a trumpet (which I haven't touched in 2 years)... what a waste of money....

guitar! I like all kinds of guitar music: rock, jazz; classical; soul; country and western, gospel etc... I love traditional Korean, African, Japanese, Chinese, Irish and English string instruments and music too.

After keiko, a police sensei invited me to his house. As we came in, I heard someone playing shamisen. It was his wife! There was all kinds of bougu and shinai all over the place and some nice swords... His son had some real nice vintage Fender Strats and (bougu)! He has everything that Jimi Hendrix ever recorded including video. The father showed me a video of his son's group playing in Tokyo. This cat is a monster (= great guitar player)

Then sensei gave me a ride home and saw my shinai and bougu (all over the place) and my guitar studio... We both just laughed!!!
