The Devil of folklore (Daniel Webster, etc) is the classic example of lawful evil - binding contracts exchanging souls for earthly rewards, sticking to the letter of the contract not the intent, etc etc.

d&d geeks should stick to their rubber weapons
jk I played some d&d in my young years as well.

but you shouldnt see kendo as roleplaying, its yourself you have to be, and yourself you have to improve, not some character sheet

The funny thing about the quiz is that I always thought I was Neutral Good,
it says that I'm actually Lawful Good. Oh man, that sucks, I hate being a stiff paladin. I'll retreat to a corner and nurse my pain.

if someone were to score "chaotic evil" i wonder if he'd get blacklisted at his dojo. i certainly wouldn't want to ji-geiko with him.
I blew it with the chaotic good, but I got 3 out of the top 4 evil, does that count? (Maybe it's a good thing I didn't use my real name as my login name) Chaotic good and lawful evil seem like a strange top two to anybody else?
You scored as Chaotic Good.

A Chaotic Good person is someone who has little intrinsic respect for laws or authority, seeing them as insufficient to sustain what's right. These people work according to their own moral compass which, while good, is not necessarily always aligned with that of society. Despite their chaotic tendancies, these people are good at heart.

Alignment deffinitions must be from some new version I'm not hip to.. so here's 1st edition AD&D just for the sake of digging it out of the box in the closet

Chaotic Evil: The major precepts of this alignment are freedom, randomness, and woe. Laws and order, kindness, and good deeds are disdained. Life has no value. By promoting chaos and evil, those of this alignment hope to bring themselves to positions of power, glory, and prestige in a system ruled by individual caprice and their own whim.

Chaotic Neutral: Above respect for life and good, or disregard for life and promotion of evil, the chaotic neutral places randomness and disorder. Good and evil are complimentary balance arms. Neither are preferred, nor must either prevail, for ultimate chaos would then suffer.

Chaotic Good: While creatures of this alignment view freedom and the randomness of actions as ultimate truths, they likewise place value on life and the welfare of each individual. Respect for individualism is also great. By promoting the gods of chaotic good, characters of this alignments seek to spread their values throughout the world.

Neutral Evil: The neutral evil creature views law and chaos as unnecessary considerations, for pure evil is all-in-all. Either might be used, but both are disdained as foolish clutter useless in eventually bringing maximum evilness to the world.

True Neutral: The "true" neutral looks upon all other alignments as facets of the system of many things. Thus, each aspect — evil and good, chaos and law — of things must be retained in balance to maintain the status quo; for things as they are cannot be improved upon except temporarily, and even then but superficially. Nature will prevail and keep things as they were meant to be, provided the "wheel" surrounding the hub of nature does not become unbalanced due to the work of unnatural forces — such as human and other intelligent creatures interfering with what is meant to be.

Neutral Good: Unlike those directly opposite them (neutral evil) in alignment, creatures of neutral good believe that there must be some regulation in combination with freedoms if the best is to be brought to the world — the most beneficial conditions for living things in general and intelligent creatures in particular.

Lawful Evil: Creatures of this alignments are great respecters of laws and strict order, but life, beauty, truth, freedom, and the like are held as valueless, or at least scorned. By adhering to stringent discipline, those of lawful evil alignments hope to impose their yoke upon the world.

Lawful Neutral: Those of this alignment view regulation as all-important, taking a middle ground betwixt evil and good. This is because the ultimate harmony of the world — and the whole universe — is considered by lawful neutral creatures to have its sole hope rest upon law and order. Evil or good are immaterial beside the determined purpose of bringing all to predictability and regulation.

Lawful Good: While as strict in their prosecution of law and order, characters of lawful good alignment follow these precepts to improve the common weal. Certain freedoms must, of course, be sacrificed in order to bring order; but truth is of highest value, and life and beauty of great importance. The benefits of this society are to be brought to all.

Neutral Good, That sounds about right, oh my, what a goody two shoes forum we are.

Code
You scored as Neutral Good. A Neutral Good person tries to do the 'goodest' thing possible. These people are willing to work with the law to accomplish their goal, but if the law is corrupt they are just as willing to tear it down. To these people, doing what's right is the most important thing, regardless of rules, customs, or laws.

You scored as True Neutral.

A True Neutral person has two faces- either these people are merely apathetic, preferring to focus their minds on more important things, or these people truly believe in a balance of all things. To these people, there can be no light without some darkness. These people also have no dedication to, or intrinsic distrust of, laws.
