This is my favorite review:
KFC:
If there's anything more disgusting than biting into a piece of "fried" chicken and having half a quart of hot water (or something) roll down your chin, I don't know what it is. KFC is f****' grotesque. Hard, deep-fried grease shells, "water," snapping veins, people sucking marrow out of shiny bones, great sheets of animal skin hanging from the corner of glistening mouths... it's like something out of a Dean Koontz novel. This is a place for people not fully evolved to exercise their basic animal instincts, and indulge in a bloody feeding frenzy. It gives me the creeps just thinking about it. Oh sure, I'm a proud carnivore and everything, but I'm not a f***ing dingo! I just experienced a full-body shiver. Sh**t! D

ROFL!!!

When does any food ever look like the picture? You know what they use for pictures of ice cream? Mashed potatoes.

vBulletin MessageYou must spread some Reputation around before giving it to kensenbatusaii again. I see you're still working on that "quest for relevance" thing.

"You know what they use for pictures of ice cream? Mashed potatoes."

friend of my teachers used work as a food photographer. Milk is PVA glue, chicken is chargrilled with a flamethrower and chocolate is made of hardwood.

Most of those didn't look to bad... so much as poorly assembled. The worst one of the lot in my opinion was the "perfect" photo of the beef sandwich near the top. Looks like... beef-lips or something.

When does any food ever look like the picture?
Japanese food.
But only because they usually take photos of the grub and stick it in there.
My wife often rants about why in the heck Western Menus don't have pictures most of the time.

Which made me think.....yeah! why don't Western restaurants have photos of the food?? Instead, we just get a lousy description of the food!
Somethin' aint right here!

How about this...

There is an article in the New York times saying that unsaturated fats in foods like stuff made by Frito Lay can help to curb heart disease. At least that is the label they are going to start putting on their packaging. So now you can eat all the doritos, chips, tostitos, etc to your hearts content so you can stop heart disease...

Who cares if I can't leave my house because I am too fat, at least I won't get heart disease.
