I just heard of a terrible development at Virginia Tech. They are talking of more than 20 dead in a shooting. Since I know of at least one person from there who posts in this forum, I thought that I would post this to learn if he is all right. Shazzanzzz, man, let us know that you are okay.

Shazznaz graduated from VA Tech and know goes to GW. I haven't talked to recently but I'm 99.95%sure he was not at VT during the shooting. Although many of his friends still go to Tech so I'm sure todays events are even tougher for him. My prayers go out to everyone at VT and their families/friends during this difficult time.

Hey all,
I am the current president of the Kendo Club at Viriginia Tech. I would first like to thank you all for your concern over this horrible tragedy. As far as I know, no member of our club was directly involved in the shootings today, thankfully! Sadly this is still a horrific day for us all, and we had to cancel our practice since school was closed. This is a very difficult time, but we will still do our best for our kendo. If anyone is going to the Harvard tournament, we will be sure to still attend. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated as we recover from this awful day. Thank you. |
