i know this sounds stupid but i really need to talk to someone about issues with my family. it is probably unreasonable on my part but i think that doing "upkeep" on the house (ie. cleaning kitchen, mowing lawn, stuff like that) for no money is wrong. im not old enough to get a job just yet and therefore have no source of income. what should i do?

I know it's nice to see a monetary incentive for household chores, but think of the economics of it in a different way.

How much money do your parents outlay for you as it is, in terms of paying for your food, the electricity and water you use, your internet, etc? Yes, they have a parental responsibility to you for bringing you into the world, but arguments can be made (yay Confucianism) for your own necessary filial piety in return. It isn't like slavery where you do things for them and get nothing, or bare subsistence, in return (or at least I assume not).

Money would be nice. But you aren't exactly getting the shaft at the moment, either.

very true. ive taken accord the ammount of money they put into feeding me and such, and it comes to about 50 bucks a month. ( im "accessing" my neighbors wireless internet on my psp because we dont have internet) so yeah it kind of evens out, but a little $ would be nice

Have you tried putting it to them that you're too young for a job, and anyway, don't want it to get in the way of your school work, but you want some money of your own so you can have fun with your friends/save (whatever it is you want it for) and it would be a good way of learning to handle money before you have to 'go it alone'? Also tell them you're willing to work for it, with your chores.

And apparently you don't wear clothes or shoes or require heating or use toilet paper or use elastic-trickery or get driven anywhere or have furniture in your bedroom or use bed linen or use soap or any of the thousands of other things most parents provide there kids.

If you've tried all the reasonable avenues like discussing it with your parents and such and are still not having any luck then it sounds like your only option is to get yourself a part time job.
You say all your neighbours are old and obsessed with their lawns? Why not offer to mow their lawns for cash? If you can show that you are good at it then you should have a good customer base in no time, especially if you are cheaper than getting in some other company.

no they wont let me or my dog go anywhere near their lawns. they all mow their own and most of them have collector cars that i cant touch. and btw all those necesaties only need to be replaced about once a year, so that doesnt count very much
