Default Duck Tape Prom Vote for bogu!
Hey all... help my daughter buy her own bogu. She was selected as one of the top ten finalists in the Duck Tape 'Stuck at Prom' contest. This is a contest where people make their prom attire out of Duck Tape (and wear it to prom). She designed and made both her and her dates outfits completely out of duck tape.

The judges picked them as one of 10 finalists and now its up to the public online voting to pick the 3 winners. If she is one of the top 3 vote getters she will win enough money that she can afford to buy her own bogu (she is currently wearing borrowed bogu and I can't afford to bu her own for her).

Anyways, you can vote once per day per email address and you can vote every day till June 29.

Her entry # is 3981 and here is a link to the voting page.

http://www.stuckatprom.com/contests/...s_finalist.asp

You will have to fill out a short registration to vote the first time... but there is no spam involved. It's so they can disallow voting form the same email address in any given day. But as I said they do allow you to vote with multiple email addys.

Vote as many days as you can. If she wins.. it's bogu time!!

Anyways, thanks for voting if you have the chance!

my vote is in. quite amazing what duck tape is good for.

as a wise man once told me, you only need 2 things to fix everything.
duck tape, and WD40.
If it moves and it shouldnt, use ducktape
if it doesnt move and should, spray some wd40 on it.

i had a pair of boots fixed with duck tape once, and a jacket
if it got too wet and started peeling away, i would just replace it.
increased the longitivity of my garments tenfold

I had to say I was from California - 90210 is the only zip code I know. Way, way too close to Kenzan.

hehehe...I always knew I would be famous 1 day, I now live on 78 Sunset Boulevard....I put that in case they verify street names or something, surely it exists.

BTW...3881 is damm good!!...she'll need as many celebrities voting as possible to beat that!...but her's definately has more character.

I just double voted, and going for a third. I think it would be cool if we all double and triple(maybe even quadruple voted). That would definitly get her the bogu.

BTW, does she get a cash prize for second place?

Yep, look like I've just moved to Beverly Hills as well.

Duct tape is like the force... it has a dark side, a light side and it holds the universe together.

So basically they make about $500 after paying off Mike W's credit card, which they used for buying all that ducktape. Enough for a low-end bougu, but a bougu none-the-less.

I voted for your daughter. That is impressive work done with just duck tape.

Seems like an incredible waste of time though that she could've spent practicing kendo or whatever... haha, I kid. I'm sure she had alot of fun doing it... and if she can get a nice bogu set out of it, more power to her.

Anyway, I agree with Silence too. She is quite pretty.
