Yes, Although I have tried to subscribe 3 times over the last 2ish years and each time I have been met with failure....
The last time I tried was before Xmas when I ordered a lot of back issues and and annual sub, but i didnt get anything by march (i think) and when I contacted KW they had no record (I had to forward a CC statement). Its a shame its so hard to sign up, it put me off (tho i received the xmas copy after I sent my CC details, but I don't know how long I am subscribed for or any account details etc) Shame, but I think the quality of the mag is worth the hassle... |

I was worried when I subscribed, due to lack of automated feedback and errors in the form to order back issues, but I then contacted Michael Komoto and Tyler Rothmar who quickly solved my issues.
Honestly, the magazine is very well done, on the whole it is not very expensive, and unless you are a fluent japanese reader it is the only kendo mag out there. I would understand why an iaidoka with little money would be reluctant to subscribe for a mag that's at the most 20% about iai, but for a kendoka it would be a shame to miss it. |

In my mind, the subscription price is a bit high for a non-monthly periodical. Big thanks for both the magazine and this forum. |

I've had my subscription for two years and I find it well worth my money. I haven't had any problems with my subscription so far and have even gotten a reminder that it was time to renew my subscription. I personally think that the subscription fee is a small price to pay considering that the option would be no kendo magazine in english AT ALL.

I don't currently subscribe, as I have only recently taken up the art. Although I would like to subscribe; I just wish I could get my hands on a copy first, to see what it is like. Could the BKA or one of the dojos not become a UK distributor for the magazine? I'm sure there would be a LOT more readers in the UK and Ireland if that were the case.
Does anyone agree? |

I subsribe but not from the first issue. I borrowed the first issue from a friend then last year the issues were cheap on budovideos.com and I bought all the issues up to the 13th WKC issue. After that I finally subscribed to kendo-world. The fee is not that bad it is just the anticipation and wait for the next issue.
