Default We have a "friends" function now?
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but we can "friend" each other now?

Yes, I have no clue what that really does or means. You can also leave "visitor messages" on someone's profile, which are sorta like PMs but public. You can see how many people visit your profile, and the notifications include other stuff than just PMs. The whole profile window has been redesigned into a tabbed format. It all came bundled with the last upgrade.

One convenient thing is that when you search for new posts, if the thread is old there's a little arrow to the left you can click to take you to the first new post in that thread. I can also delete posts as spam, which saves me a step or two from before. There's probably more features kicking around but that's all I can think of right now.

Thanks, Neil! Just when I was getting the hang of the rep function and the rate thread function. I notice you can tag threads now, too.

I'll have you know that I'm quite satisfied in being a social outcast, thank you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've a Tea-Party to attend to; as Mr. McFlippy and the Frog-Meister do not like to be kept waiting...

I didn't mean to hurt you.
But I'm just an ordinary man with ordinary needs after all.

You understand.

are friends different from buddies?

Would you do certain things with friends that you wouldn't / couldn't with a buddy?

I'm not your buddy, friend!

Well i'm not your friend, buddy!

Guess what popped in my mind?

Take this as a warning: you DON'T want to be my internet friends.

EDIT: it seems that obviously Sats got the same idea.

But it can't be worse than failing at Internet dating, can it?

Just make a friendship then - after they accept - break it!!! Much more devastating.
