As an Everton fan Otherwise their exertions in the vicinity of my dojo make it a nightmare to get to practice. |

Indeed I do. We're a happy-go-lucky bunch and a few of us are regularly visiting our North-West dojo neghbours. Bolton, Preston [although it's on the same night], Oldham, South Manchester and Bramhall, not to mention our fortnightly kata sessions in Crosby. You can practice nearly every day in the NW thanks to the glories of the motorway network and fossil fuels. That's quite difficult, I think, outside of the capital although it seems you could practice 5 nights a week in Aberdeen, I may retires there
You're more than welcome to visit if your ever over here. |

As an Everton fan my dream result would be if both teams realize that they are crap and quit football. Joking asside, you have to give credit where it's due, i like how Liverpool got there groove back after beating Real Madrid eventhough i'm a ManU fan(not a fanatic), Porto deserved to win yesterday if it wasn't for some lucky breaks that saved the face of the hosting team. |

I like how the fact they were saying on the radio it will take a miracle for Liverpool to come back from their defeat in the re-match. Surely they only have to do exactly what Chelsea did, which wasn't a miracle it was just football.
Still I avoided the traffic which was the important thing. I also found out Sensei has a season ticket, but he was there last night taking practice not at the match. That's dedication in my book. |

You have my sympathies, I can say that because back in the day I too was a Toffee Man. Nowadays I just like to watch the goal highlights from any match so long as it's edited to a tune currently in the hit parade. |

I can't believe you used the phrase "hit parade". You're over 40, aren't you? |

Do you use the phrase 'popular beat combo'
Betcha do, betcha do! Anyhoo, Liverpool got stuffed by Chesea and my not scouse son is gutted. Going to bait him again....back in a mo... "oi.......son.....you know how things are cheap in Liverpool." ..."sh'rup" " well now, if you buy the whole team you can get one three" "I'm gonna kill you dad" Ah the joys of being a parent and tormenting your kids. |

Well Well, Chelsea has done it, what a great match it was, really high level football, i believe that the fans of both football teams had a good time but as always there has to be a winner and a loser. The other remaining teams should play the same way, giving your all with style.
Porto vs ManU could be another great match if ManU wakes up that is. |

I gave a clap when they scored the first one, the wife goes who scored? I said Liverpool she asked why I was clapping [what with her being a Toffee-lady and all] and I said because it was more exciting. As I said I've no real allegiance so I hoped they would come back and prove that a 'miracle' was not needed, especially from the team with the highest goal scoring record. But failing at the last was still no tragedy. Sadly I nipped downstairs at half time [for half an orange] and was back up after the 2 Chelsea goals so it was a bit of excitement missed.
Still the winners on the night - the spectators. that must be the second match I've seen in a month. I will be buying replica t-shirts, always have a pint in hand and know a 'terrace chant' soon. Must. Take. Up. Train. Spotting... |
