I have to admit that the last episode made me very emotional.... a lump in my throat was present.... It was hardly "self-indulgent", it was essential to fully fulfill the prophecy. It all happened before and will happen again.

What I think is really really cool about it is that they had their story; told their story and boom that's it: NO MORE BATTLESTAR. No fillers, no dragging it out over 9 seasons; just telling the story... although i hear there is going to be another series set on caprica before the fall (not the autumn )

Good actors, great story, great effects... It's safely been one of the best TV shows ever made. The first two seasons alone blow most contemporary scifi out of the water... I am so glad I decided to start watching it when I did.
As far as show endings goes, I reckon any sci fi is going to have to do something pretty ace to beat "All good things..."

I'm predicting that Heroes is about to turn awesome but it's been f*cking sh*te the past few episodes... god knows what they are playing at giving the blonde so much screen time; why is she always showing her teeth and no matter the circumstances she is out of breath... oh "acting" is it? I loved the FTL jump into the Cylon colony. Galactica received an a$$ whooping of monumental proportions and then to just ram the thing, inspired. The second (and final) FTL where Galactica 'broke her back' left me holding my breath, the tortured metal/whale song as Galactica died was amzing sound effects to go with the visuals. The rest of it, meh! Still Baltar and Carpica 6 we're cool

But I enjoyed the whole thing big time. was kind of glad Geata & what's his face was executed. But I was sad to see The first Boomer killed even though she was messed up in the head.

So, essentially, it seems like Starbuck was what head-Baltar and head-Caprica was, AFTER she got fried flying into the nebula.

I kept thinking she was Daniel's daughter, but they never addressed that either.

IMHO, I was so ready to buy up all the DVDs until I saw the final episode. They were so good up until then.

IMHO, the final episode was a let down.

Yeah i do think the starbuck story has some parts that weren't addressed fully, anyway as far as i understood she became an angel after being bbcued.

But still a few more questions. it appears that starbuck didn't know or understand she was an angel until the very end but could she have been killed again during the fighting? The flashback that Lee was having about Starbuck...was that about the hidden desire Lee had for Starbuck or was that more about trying to explain Starbuck. Also I couldn't figure out why the Hybrids kept refering to her as the harbinger of death & she would lead them to their death.

The whole angel starbuck thing isn't clear for sure, for instance why would she appear to everybody? And yes the harbinger of death part made no sense unless it was because she brought them to a dead planet earth.

Maybe the writers will clear things up in the 2 hours special set to be aired this summer.
