First, you will learn basic movements in sword fighting, for example, drawing, posing and swinging. They certainly know what they are teaching, given the pictures !

There is a group that does intro classes like this all the time in the DC area. Wine tasting, shotgun shooting, scuba, flying lessons etc.

We had a group who organized a similar experience for kendo a few months back, wasn't a bad way to do an intro to kendo class either, we have a number of people from that class who enrolled since then.
