Default Best NFL teams?
Hi everyone, long time no see.

Just had a question that I wanted to ask, out of these teams which would you say were good (and why)

Buffalo Bills
Baltimore Ravens
Houston Texans
Denver Broncos
Kansas City Chiefs
Philidelphia Eagles
Green Bay Packers
and

Minnesota Vikings

Its superbowl soon, just wondered which teams were good or stand a chance?

I quite like the Bills and the Packers.

Cheers

Buffalo Bills-qb went to Venice High school!!!! will finish 3-4 in a tough afc east
Baltimore Ravens- great defensive team, good qb but health is an issue, may go to the the bowl
Houston Texans-suck balls
Denver Broncos- haven't been good since elway left
Kansas City Chiefs-new QB, LJ cant do it on his own.
Philadelphia Eagles- may go deep into the playoffs if they dont get hit by the injury bug
Green Bay Packers-suck balls
and

Minnesota Vikings-just too many new parts to really do anything

Take a look at the seahawks, chargers, COLTS and the PATS

dear lord let the raiders finish .500 or better.

Long time no read commander, hope you're doing well.

As for NFL teams it's too early really to say too much but these are the teams I like for a super bowl chance right now:

AFC:
Chargers
Pats
Colts

NFC:
Bears
Saints
Seattle

Unfortunately, only one out of the teams that you have listed has a chance at winning the Super Bowl and that would be the Ravens. They have a very stong defense and their offense is improved, but not yet what I would call a top tier offense. They got Willis McGahee from Buffalo, but their passing game is still suspect. Also, a new running back is still never guaranteed to work in a new system.

All of the other teams on your list have critical flaws listed by kurukuru. I don't know if the Packers "suck balls" but they don't have a prayer at the Super Bowl.

MikeW has your list of contenders nailed down pretty well, but I don't know about the Seahawks. They play in a weaker division, but it is much improved. If Alex Smith plays well, don't be shocked if the 49ers win that division. SF would be my darkhorse in the NFC and the Bengals would be in the AFC.

That's great. I have been a Buffalo Bills fan all my life. I grew up in Montreal so the live NBC feed we got was from Vermont and they showed Bills games all the time. I was devastated when I was a youth when they went through their 4 straight AFC Championships (I refuse to call it "Super Bowl losses").

As for jerseys:

I love the Bills of course. I do miss the lighter ones from the Jim Kelly days, but these dark ones are nice too.

Purple is a color I like so I used to love the Vikings until the Ravens came along with their purple one. They wear black more now, but I love the purple Ravens one.

I also like the Benglals' jersey only because those Tiger stripes add a nice tough.

Honorable mentions:

Rams: the darker blue and gold are nicer than their old royal blue and yellow.
Bucs: Something about Red and pewter.

PS: I despise the Patriots. Something about Belichick makes me ill.

Looks like the Packers aren't doing so well, though not sure how the Bills are doing.

I have a few more questions, are these teams good (what are your opinions on these teams)

Minnesota Vikings (Not heard alot about them are they as bad as the browns?)

Buffalo Bills (They look like a good team)

Denver Broncos

and the

Carolina Panthers (I have alot of friends in South Carolina) lol

Thanks alot

I've always liked the Pats and the Eagles kit, but youare going fashion before heart.

You should watch some games before supporting a team. See who you like to watch the best. Any reason is cool - you like certain types of play, you fancy the quarterback, you like the city they are from etc etc, but

YOU SHOULD HAVE A REASON TO SUPPORT A TEAM...!

(not just for fashion)

Since noone bit, i will. I hate the browns becuase i hate their QB. Besides, Quinn will be as incosistent and dissapointing as plummer.

Even though i bet the bengals to kurukuru last year, i will bet them again this year. Im also looking to the cardinals to make something happen.

lol funny you should mention that...Browns is still trying to build after the Mondale pull-out. I love watching the Ravens, but when i do I feel as if I betrayed the Browns. I was hoping that Plummer was going to be a postive influence for them--So i just need to have faith in Quinn.

I'm a Chargers fan (go figure ) and really love watching LT run or catch or pass!

But the problem with being a Charger fan is that they are like a power switch -they are either 'on' or 'off.

Get to Rivers and rattle him, focus and swarm on LT and the Chargers will sputter and be inconsistent.

The Secondary is a joke - they still suffer from the dang 'bend but not break' mentality of the early 80's. They give up way too much over the middle and are weak tacklers.

But - I'm still a fan.

My number one team from long long ago when I was just a young whipper snapper are the Colts(Baltimore). But a repeat this year....not likely.

I'm just along for the ride this season.

Both my boys are in their first year of Pop Warner football - Go Rattlers and Spurs!!!

I'm not sold on Brady Quinn either, but I still won't write him off as a Ryan Leaf or Tim Couch. He seems to have better pocket presence than I expected, but he has yet to play against a real NFL D. I still think that the best QB from the last two drafts will be Jay Cutler, but the jury is still out.

The SD Chargers are probably the most talented team in the NFL. However, I am still in shock over their pick for head coach. Norv Turner?!?! Might as well hand me the clipboard and headset and I can guide them to a first round playoff loss at home. Poor LT.
