Default Surgery for Tennis Elbow
Hey All

I've been suffering from Tennis elbow for quite a while now, had physio and several injections but they don't seem to be working.

Now my doctor has told me that my next option is surgery.

Just wondering if anyone on KW has had this surgery? If so did it work, how long were you out for, did you have trouble doing Kendo at first?

Have you tried Accupunture? I had a bad case of tennis elbow and it took me almost 8 months get rid of it, and It was rather painfull to do both kendo and specially iaido.. But I had accupunture done on it and it worked really well.. I think personally surgery wil be my last resort. I hope you get better soon. Mine still twinge a bit but it's not giving me much grieve these days. Good luck

I haven't tried Acupuncture, it hasn't been suggested by my Doctor. I will ask about it.

Thanks for your help

Two weeks off budo after the Europeans - coupled with the exercises I got from Narendra - have worked wonders for me so far.
