Hi

I have a question, What exactly is the purpose of the the Koshita on the Hakama worn for Aikido, Kendo etc. ?
It's just a question that's been bugging me for a while and googling doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere near satisfying my curiosity. Any help would be great. Thanks
