Default Watching WAFL overseas
Planning a trip OS next year, but may miss a few games. Does anyone know if the ABC's iview can be used outside Australia? I cant view anything here on BBC site without using a proxy server, but wondered if it was the same in reverse? Anyone ever tried watching the WAFL game of the week from London, for instance? How about you, Sun Ra?

Yep, unfortunately abc iview is the same. It requires an Australian ip address. I'm told that the proxys are too fkn slow to make it watchable

no, but i will try. i listened to some tests throu the abc website once - and other times could not - i' m guessing because as satan said i have a non aussie ip address. i have no problem listening throu the afl website and is a feature of my saturday mornings. sometimes it is good to leave home at home tho - forget about things, turn the phone off etc immerse yourself in the local culture. i would suggest this if it just a few weeks away.
