Michael Swan

Michael Swan has again been reported for striking in the game against EF on the weekend. How many times has this happened over his career?Enough is enough. This bloke has had more than enough chances to pull his head in and learn a lesson in the process. If found guilty, he deserves a long holiday.

Thug of the highest order and has been the biggest thug in the WAFL for almost 10 years. Will never forget how he broke Jason Salecic's jaw in 2003, biggest dog act I've seen in a WAFL game.

Well seeing though the striking charge has been withdrawn and the incident wasnt even a strike any internet heroes going to apologise?

Rossi, where did you see that the charge against Swan was withdrawn? The only place I know of that gives Tribunal results is wafootball.com and I can't tab down far enough to see them all.

Also, do you know of any result in Nick Kommer's charge?

Tribunal Incidents can be seen on the round summary page. http://www.wafl.com.au/summary/18

Got it. Thanks Admin.

Kommer (EP) accepted reprimand for charging.

3 reports from the match; Swan (EP) and Weller, McGough (EF) were withdrawn. Seems as if the whistleblowers aren't seeing what they think they are seeing.

I watched the whole thing and the reports were the usual overaction of an attention seeking prat.

Swan and Mcgough had a tussle after Swan and stevens (?) had a go at each other.

As for the prats making comments abt Swan and the red and blue capt, I don't recall seeing the small red bird person putting his body on the line for his team seagull yes but body in harms way never!

I would love to know the amount of players reported this season, and the amount actually found not guilty.

The umpires are way too over the top in the dramatisation of getting the book out and making a dramatic report. They all do it and it is getting beyond the joke. It is (or used to be) a contact sport and players are expected to go in hard. Doesnt mean they are worthy of a suspension. Its getting too precious. Sure protect the players head. But unless a player openly punches a bloke in the head or anything completely out of line, then let it go.

It seems players are reported every week, and many front up the following week. Would like to know the statistics on reports and not guilty's.

The only time someone is a dog is when they pull on a west perth jumper.

I was not there so i cannot comment on the incident, but it always takes two to tango and sometimes when you play with fire you will get burnt. How many weeks in his career at WAFL level has he been on holidays due to such offences.
It is always humorous the way supporters continue to slag the opposition for "dirty" deeds probably without having any knowledge of what led to the incident and while believing their own players are angels and blameless in any altercation .
