Brace yourself, according to the top public servant in the Immigration Department at least 3,600 illegal are expected to arrive and make asylum claims during the first six months of this year; and at least as many during the second half of the year. Each one of these illegals costs you, the taxpayer, an average of $220,000 to process, plus free housing (with appliances, furniture and clothes) and a lifetime of double welfare benefits for most of them. Think the situation is bad? It is actually much worse.

based on that Warick unemployment thread half the farmers around Warwick will welcome them as a future labour pool.

I really despise hearing ' employers ' say how migrants ' are so eager to please and do anything ' . These were excuses used around 1900 with Chinese and Asian imports. At the base of the comment is the fact employers or some employers (=greedy capitalists) dislike that white workers organised into unions (not that todays ones are good..) and political parties that legislated minimum conditions so that a living wage is paid. We said in this country that our working and middle class's deserve the basics of a house and job that could cover the raising of a family without both parents needing to work two jobs 10 hours a day with zero time for child raising.

So ' eager to please' for a capitalist farmer or business owner means ' desperate worker from afar who has come from such a low base almost any lousy set of wages/conditions I offer him hell accept. Plus I know over time he ll learn to want and demand more from the Aussies around him but by then Ill import another boatload of desperate people '.

At the half-way point of the year going by the law of averages there will be at least 10,000 invading parasites at years' end. However, if the last month is anything to go by that number could easily be doubled. Of course this is not including those that will be red carpeted in under the family reunion scheme once the original parasite is allowed in. So, that 10,000 could easily become 50,000+!
