Default It is one type festival days......
Remembrance Day is such a one type of festival day in Australia.
I think this type of day should start in every country...
In Canberra, thousands of people gathered at the Australian War Memorial for the national ceremony where Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Governor-General Quentin Bryce joined others in laying wreaths.

The affective comments made by General David Hurley, chief of Defense, on the Remembrance day ceremonial
It is certain that your sacrifices shall always be on our minds.
He also added that this is the day to understand the cost we paid for war, family loss and the feeling of togetherness.

The fact is that at the time of Remembrance Day ceremony, we have a much better chance to get educated to understand options apart from war that can help us prosper and nurture mankind.

Moreover when addressing an event in Sydney, General Peter Cosgrove, who is the former Chief, added it was best day to remember and honor dead soldiers and to understand the cost we pay for entering war conditions.
