Upcoming Bubbly beauty Samantha is likely to make her debut in Bollywood soon.As we know, ace director Gautham Menon is presently directing a Telugu-Tamil bilingual with Ram and Jiiva in the respective lead roles. Samantha is the female lead in both versions.

According to sources, the director is planning to make the film in Hindi as well and Samantha might be part of this version too. The hero is yet to be finalized, it is heard. - Telugu website

Gautham creates history with a trilingual

Gautham Vasudev Menon has created cinematic history. He becomes the first director to do a film shot by shot simultaneously in three different languages.

Gautham has done the impossible by doing his new romantic film Neethaane En Ponvasantham (NEP) in Tamil with Jiiva as hero, in Telugu the male lead is being done by Ram while the Hindi version will have Aditya Roy Kapoor as hero.

All the three versions will have Samantha playing the heroine.

NEP is being currently shot in Chennai and suburbs on actual locations mainly coffee shops, college campuses and upmarket malls.

Says Gautham Menon: “ Each shot by cameraman MS Prabhu is taken three times for three different versions as the three heroes are different. I know it is very difficult and time consuming, but it is working out well.”

Remember Gautham had done something similar when he made VTV in Tamil and Telugu with different artists, and it worked big at the box-office.

The supporting character artists in the three languages are different except for one or two people.

The film is likely to have music by AR Rahman, though it is yet to be confirmed.

Gautham Menon who’s currently shooting his trilingual film with Samantha and Jiiva, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Ram in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu respectively, has spoken out about Ram allegedly walking out of the film. We had reported long ago that Ram had pulled out of the film due to the differences between him and Bellamkonda Suresh, who was supposed to produce the Telugu version.

However, sources in the Tamil film industry have a different story to tell. Apparently, the actor was miffed at the delay in shooting schedules because each scene was being shot with the three actors separately. When Chennai Times contacted Gautham Menon about why Ram walked out, the director said, “It’s too early to talk about it.

We’re still trying to sort things out. We didn’t want Ram in the first place; so, it’s not that he has walked out of the film.” If Ram wasn’t the original choice for the film, this issue seems to be even more complicated than ever before.
