at last, managed to watch a postion of 'Manmadhan ambu' - it felt like Kamal was sleep-walking through the script and was on a genuine vacation in Europe! for a film/script like this, the music shd be outstanding (to make up for the lack of depth), which an IR cud have easily provided - instead, DSP is busy plucking a few piano keys here and there - if Kamal makes films like this, he will only confirm that he is becoming a spent force! trisha konjam aangaangey mukkinaalum, has done a decent job - Sangeetha takes the limelight though - Kamal looks overweight and very jaded !

Kamal‘s Viswaroopam has been floundering for some time because Sonakshi Sinha, who was chosen as the female lead, left the project. It was rumored that Deepika Padukone and Priya Anand had been roped in but nothing materialized.Kamal said , he had not even met Priya Anand. Initially Selvaraghavan was to direct the film but due to creative differences, he also had to part ways with Kamal.

Sameera Reddy is the lucky lady to land the part. Viswaroopam is a mighty undertaking with Kamal at the helm. He will be directing the film and has also done the screenplay and dialogues for it. Produced under his banner ‘Rajkamal International‘, Viswaroopam will be made on a mammoth budget and is being touted as the costliest film to be made in this part of the world. It will be made in three languages( Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi).

HEROINE RUMOURS
Kamal's heroine Anushka?
Looks like Kamal Haasan's 'heroine hunt' for 'Viswaroopam' has come to an end, as the Ulaganayagan, according to sources, has finally zeroed in on Anushka to play the female lead in the mega budget movie.

Directed by Kamal himself, 'Viswaroopam' initially had Sonakshi Sinha on-board. However, since the film's shoot got delayed, the Bollywood heroine opted out of the project, reportedly citing call-sheet reasons.

Then started a heroine hunt as well as a guessing game, with the media predicting a new actress's name every passing day. With no official confirmation from Kamal's side, the game intensified, resulting in many stories on 'Viswaroopam'.

Now it is said that Anushka has been roped in by Kamal, as he feels that the actress's popularity in south India would help the multilingual, which is to be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Heroine confirmed for Vishwaroopam?
Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam has been floundering for some time because Sonakshi Sinha, who was chosen as the female lead, left the project. It was rumored that Deepika Padukone and Priya Anand had been roped in but nothing materialized and Kamal said that he had not even met Priya Anand. Initially Selvaraghavan was to direct the film but due to creative differences, he also had to part ways with Kamal.

Now the grapevine has it that Sameera Reddy is the lucky lady to land the part. Viswaroopam is a mighty undertaking with Kamal at the helm. He will be directing the film and has also done the screenplay and dialogues for it. Produced under his banner, Rajkamal International, Viswaroopam will be made on a mammoth budget and is being touted as the costliest film to be made in this part of the world. It will be made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Sonakshi to Sameera: Haasan's search is on Kamal Haasan still does not seem to have found the right heroine to romance in his upcoming action film Viswaroopam. It all started with Dabangg's Sonakshi Sinha signing on Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam and then supposedly opting out once the project didn't start in July. However, there were rumours that she 'was asked to leave' as she didn't develop a lean physique for the film. Meanwhile, Deepika had also apparently been offered Rajini's Rana and Kamal's spy thriller but the young diva opted for Rajini's film over Kamal's. Vidya Balan, who also is said to have been approached, turned down the film for reasons unknown.

Rahul Bose to work with Kamal Hassan

Rahul Bose More Pics
Kamal Hassan's action thriller Vishwaroopam might not yet have a female lead, but the filmmaker has decided to get Rahul Bose on-board to play the second lead.

Reportedly, Bose's character has negative shades. And so, Bose has been told to grow a beard for the film. The film has had a tumultuous start. It was originally to be directed by Selvaraghvan, but due to creative differences, Kamal decided to take on the directorial reins himself. This delayed the film, which in turn made the lead actress Sonakshi Sinha opt out of the venture as her dates clashed with her other project, Rowdy Rathore.

The source told us, "All the road blocks have turned out to be a bless -ing in disguise for Rahul Bose, who got ample time to get into character. He has grown a beard and is looking like the character required for the film. Bose himself is very excited about working with Kamal Hassan."

The film, which will incorporate a lot of SFX, has already gone on floors. Who is Kamal's villain?
The latest buzz surrounding Vishwaroopam is that Rahul Bose may be playing the villain. Rahul Bose has done a few mainstream Bollywood films but is more famous for the unconventional roles he takes up in art films and has a slew of awards to show for it. He is a man of many talents and has worked as a writer, director, and is a professional rugby player. In addition to this he is a passionate social activist and is committed to deserving causes.

As Kamal Hassan's villain a lot is expected from him, because it is well known that Kamal has an eye for talent. In recent times, Pasupathi came in for a lot of praise as Kamal's villain in Virumandi. And in Dasavatharam, Napolean had very little screen time as a villain but even so he made a huge impact. Therefore, it will be very exciting to wait and watch Kamal Hassan and Rahul Bose take on each other on the big screen. http://twitter.com/#!/RahulBose1

Comedy Rumour
Kamal - Crazy Moahn joins once again for Nanbargal 40 Thirudargalum
Kamal Hassan-Prabhu worked magic in ‘Vetri Vizha’ and set a trenchant mark with ‘Vasool Raja MBBS’. The latter one is still acclaimed for its outstanding message and humorous approach. Thanks to Crazy Mohan for his dialogues... Now the trio comes back together for a new project titled ‘Nanbargal 40 Thirudargalum’.

The film is produced by Sivaji Production and is directed by Cheyyar Ravi. With such personalities teaming up together, one can be sure that they’re gonna be bestowed with the best comedy entertainer that will tickle their funny bones.

Doubtlessly, it’s the same as we sense it merely with the title.

Sameera Reddy signed for Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam
Confirming the news that Sameera has signed the film, a source close to the actress said, "Yes, she is doing the film, and is very glad to be a part of the project."

Sameera, however, remained unavailable for comment.

Anushka bags Viswaroopam! After several names being tossed, Kamal Haasan has finally chosen the top Tollywood heroine to be his leading lady

The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Kamal Haasan has finally zeroed in on actress Anushka Shetty after having tried — almighty unsuccessfully — to cast a Bollywood heroine for his Viswaroopam.Sources say Kamal seems to have been impressed by the top Tollywood heroine after her performance in the recently-released Deiva Thiirumagal and having seen the popularity she enjoys in the south. Apparently talks are going on between the actress who reportedly charges a cool 1 crore per film and Kamal. “Since Anushka already has several films (Tamil and Telugu) on hand, they are trying to work out the dates to shoot her portions. Kamal will start shooting his portions from Monday onwards,” adds the source.

According to a source, the shooting of Viswaroopam is all set to start from Monday and Kamal Haasan will be wielding the megaphone himself.

Recently, Rahul Bose was finalized to play one of the key roles in the film.

Music director Shankar Mahadevan has already finished composing a couple of songs for the film.

Apparently, massive sets for the film — the budget of which is touted to be around 60 crore — have already been erected in a popular engineering college owned by Jeppiar on Old Mahabalipuram Road.

There was a buzz that the movie would be produced by a top production house from Hyderabad but sources say it’s likely to be made under the Raajkamal banner.

More excited about seeing kamal the director than the actor. Its been a really long wait. An equally irritating one as well. Hopefully it comes through well
