Rajan P Dev is well known i think. Very famous for playing villain roles in this side of the town. He has also played comical roles sometimes. Passed away when he was 59, thats quite a young age. RIP

Cause of death, NOV?
Rajan P Dev died at a private hospital in Kochi on Wednesday morning following liver problems. He was 58 and is survived by his wife, son and a daughter.

Dev had been admitted to the Lakeshore hospital four days back after he vomitted blood at his residence at Angamally in Ernakulam district, family sources said.

Rajan P Dev has been taking the treatment for liver disease for many years. Recently, he had a problem of Hematemesis (vomiting blood) so he was admitted to “Lakeshore Hospital” he was living with his son “Jibile Raj”, daughter “Ashamma” and wife “Santha” in Kochi.

The dead-body of Rajan P Dev will be reserved for the people to present a tribute to him at “Ernakulan Town Hall”. His funeral ceremony will arrange on Thursday at “St. Xavier’s church” in Karukutti.

He had his own unique style as a villain and appreciated by the fans due to his punchlines and dialogue delivery. Rajan P Dev acted in over 50 movies in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. His most recent Tamil release was the “Malayan” in which he played the role of a conservative bad guy. Rajan sketched the typical dishonest cop in over 35 movies and was a well-respected by the fans.
