பெரும்பாலான பாடல்கள் எல்லாமே கற்பனை உலகத்தில் சஞ்சரிப்பவை. சில பாடல்களில் இயல்புத்தன்மை பொருந்திவர காரணங்கள் இரண்டு.

1) பாடலுக்கு யாருமே வாயசைக்காமல், பின்புறத்தில் ஒலித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பது.

Nice thread. How can we forget tons of songs from 80s mainly from Mahendran, Balu Mahendra (as HH mentioned), KB, Bharathiraja (excluding the default ones), Manirathnam and many more. Let me start with one of my best loved song; Azhagiya Kanne and I don't think any song can beat this one. Every frame is a poetry. The melody in every line can bring tears. Every word is written with utmost care. Every emotion is correctly captured in SJ's singing. The depression in Ashwini's face even when she is smiling with her kids was very well brought by Mahendran. Lyrics by Kaviarasar, outstanding singing by S Janaki, mesmerizing tune with the mellow flute in the third interlude all makes it a perfect 10 song.
