Endhiran-Velayudham Mania in Small Screen

The teasers for making of Velayudham photo shoot were telecasted during final hours of prime time that was literally colorful and quite attractive.

It was all done as a promo for airing the ‘Launch of Velayudham’ on Kalainyar TV, which will be telecasted shortly. The photo shoot had some of the montages that weren’t included in the invitation of this movie.

In fact, the promos themselves uncovered the storyline of this film as the central characters and their relevancies were very much prevalent in them.

Kalainyar Television may air this programme with accordance to ‘Endhiran’ music release function that is scheduled to be telecasted in Sun TV.

Velayudham Crew in Hyderabad


Ilayathalapathy Vijay is hitting the headlines on daily basis, Vijay is currently busy shooting simultaneouly for both his 51st untitled movie which is a remake of Bodyguard and also his 52nd movie titled VELAYUDHAM, directed by Raja.

Now Vijay is currently shooting for Velayudham and is at Golkonda, Hyderabad , wherein some important fight scenes are being shot and the team would finish their schedule at Hyderabad and would be back to chennai on August 1st.Vijay would then take a break from Velayudham and would resume his shoot for his 51st movie directed by Siddiq.And in the mean time , the Velayudham team would take their break and be ready for their next schedule.

THURSDAY TRIVIA – VELAYUDHAM: THE COUNTDOWN BEFORE COUNTDOWN!


Velayudham is Jayam Raja's second venture without his brother Ravi (He earlier directed an Arjun starrer...)

This is Genelia's second time with Vijay, who was earlier cast opposite him in Sachin.

Although he has distributed Vijay's movies (Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Priyamanavale and Pokkiri), this will be Aascar Ravichandran's first film as a producer with Vijay.

Hansika's two films in Tamil are in the pipeline (Maapillai with Dhanush and Ich with Jayam Ravi); but Velayudham might get the honor of her first film if it gets released sooner than the others.

Saranya Mohan will work with Vijay for the second time after her stint with him in Kadhalukku Mariyadhai as a child artist

Vijay takes on baddies at Golconda

The shooting of Velayudham is proceeding at a brisk pace in Hyderabad, with some breathtaking action scenes and risky stunts being shot by director Raja.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who always insists on doing all his fights without a body double, was spotted at a huge, specially-erected set at Hyderabad’s Golconda Fort, the famous shooting spot for Kollywood and Tollywood films. The Sura star was seen battling a dozen goons, with fight master Selvam as the main baddie.

It may be recalled that Selvam was a part of the major Matrix-type action in the Vikram starrer Anniyan, which won rave reviews. Aascar Ravichandran, who also produced Anniyan, had roped in Selvam for the thrilling action scenes in Velayudham

From the looks of it, Vijay, who has two heroines as arm candy – Genelia and Hansika Motwani, seemed to be happy with the way the film is shaping up
