Well SP:
Jeans IMO was an awful movie ,ofcourse I could be baised because I cant stand aishwarya rai and I generally dont like triangle love stories.Almost all my friends also hated the movie.Hence I thot it wasnt a hit.I like Kannedhire thondrinal.I think prashant is an ok actor though on the whole.just has the misfortune to pick dumb movies.

Despite prashanth's bad run with movies , he seems to be an actor who finds his way even in the darkest of paths...

He has more than eight movies coming up:

Thagappansamy
runway
petrol
jambavan
pulan visaranai 2
adaikkalam
police
enna Vilai Azhage
Sakkarai
and an untitled movie..

even the best of the tamil industry ajith,vikra,=m,surya,vj havent signed these many movies..

I guess in his movies JEANS is the only movie which was a 'fair hit'!!

vaigasi poranthachu................ ouch... I remember that was a hit(not seen it though).

Guess the youth didn't have much work those days, to make such a drab movie a HIT!

(and he would look so puny and sick in that movie.....later he became a body builder though)

All of you must remember that Prashanth and Vijay are of the same category..

Both of them had strong back up..
Both of them are christians...
Both of them preferred sangavi to any other actress(y i dunno.. luck may b)
Both of them started their career's by acting in blue films.
Both of them were considered the worst of all the actors when they entered films...

I liked Tamizh and Aasaiyil oru kaditham. They were pretty decent movies.
